28th, Tuesday, Day in London - Leave on train 11:11 to meet Lis and Jasmine
National Gallery and Covent Garden

29th May - fly to Lisbon for 2 weeks

May 30th (Thursday) — Relax at home, in the morning; maybe visit the Tile Museum and the Madre-Deus church in the afternoon

May 31st (Friday) — Relax in the morning; a trip around Lisbon on a typical tram, stopping at the Pleasures Cemetery; at the end of the day, I was planning on going to the symposium's site and preparing things for the next day + checking if anything's missing, etc.

June 1st and 2nd (Saturday and Sunday) — "SANDRA DODD AND FRIENDS IN LISBON" SYMPOSIUM
Potluck lunch at the symposium site (if you don't want to, I can take you to a local restaurant nearby)

June 3rd (Monday) — Relax

June 4th (Tuesday) — on Tuesday 16 July at 7.30pm. Sintra (Pena Palace, Moor Castle, Sintra village, Monserrate Palace, Seteais Palace)
Lunch in Sintra

June 5th (Wednesday) — on Tuesday 16 July at 7.30pm. Overnight trip to Óbidos (a medieval walled city)
Lunch in Caldas da Rainha or maybe Peniche (local towns, on the way to Óbidos)
Stop by a local graveyard, on our way to Óbidos

June 6th (Thursday) — Stroll around Óbidos and surroundings

June 7th (Friday) — Relax

June 8th (Saturday) — Alfama (local Flea Market, Lisbon Pantheon, Saint Jorge Castle)
Lunch at a local neighborhood called Graça and dinner at Tasca do Jaime, so we can listen to Fado (Portuguese music)

June 9th (Sunday) — Relax + Go to a church at the end of the day (Basílica da Estrela)
Dinner at a Goan (indian) restaurant, if you like indian food

June 10th (Monday, national holiday: Portugal Day) -- Stroll around Baixa/Chiado (Rossio Railway Station, Rossio Square, Augusta Street, Commerce Square, Santa Justa Elevator, Chiado)

June 11th (Tuesday) — Coach Museum, Jerónimos Monastery, Monument in honor of the Discoveries, Belém Tower, a view of the Golden Gate's twin sister -- the April 25th Bridge

June 12th (Wednesday) Relax and getting ready to leave + Departure from the Lisbon Airport at 8.10pm (which means we need to be there around 6pm or so), heading for Heathrow Airport in London
JULIE REMINDER: (but do not have extended chat with Customs chaps on the way in)

13th June (Thursday) – recovery day and laundry at Julie’s house (Adam and Julie will be at Legoland for a birthday outing for one of Adam’s friends)

14th June (Friday) – day with Cathy Koetsier at the White Horse (Adam may or may not want to come. Julie or James will take Sandra and Joyce if Adam does his swimming and drama groups)

15th June (Saturday) – rest day at Julie’s house (though Julie has to fly to Boston for work)

Make Signs for Selkirk room
Make sets of Thinking Sticks in English before Leiden trip
Consider maybe printing some Learn Nothing Day stickers

16th (Sunday) June Travel to Bristol, leave Staines 10.15, arrive Bristol 12:48


17th-18th June - hang out with Alison and family (but no talks!)

19th June (Wednesday) – Travel back to Julie's house - Leave Bristol 15:30, arrive Staines 17:58

20th June (Thursday) Quiet day at Julie's—Adam has his Northholt Group

21st June (Friday) with Julie and family—Adam has swimming/drama

22nd June (Saturday) Travel to Ester's house Yarrow Manse, Yarrow Valley, Selkirk, TD7 5LA

9th July (Tuesday) — go to Liverpool, stay over (our train leaves London just after 11am. James can drop us at Hatton Cross tube station maybe 9.30am or so)

10th July (Wednesday) — return from Liverpool

11th - 12th July (Th/F) - at Julie's house, prepare for conference

12th July (Friday) Adam's Stagecoach Showcase (pm, 2-3 hours)

13th & 14th July (Saturday/Sunday) LiTTLe Conference, Ashford

15th July (Monday) – rest in the morning, go to Chichester in the afternoon

16th July (Tuesday) - Chichester daytime, see Barnum preview (7:30, evening of 16th)

17 July (Wednesday) — travel back to Julie’s

18th – 20th (Th/F/Saturday) – at Julie’s house (unplanned)

21st July (Sunday) - Holcombe Steam Fair (maybe Huxley and Polly will go)

22nd – 23rd (Monday/Tuesday) at Julie’s house (unplanned)
24th July Wednesday) – travel home
